Electrical Technician
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance Team. In this position, you will create, maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical assemblies for use in coating machines and support equipment, and assist in the build up of new equipment. You will also provide support for manufacturing and process engineering; assemble, adjust, repair and dismantle electrical and mechanical equipment according to layout plans and manuals, and use test and diagnostic equipment to check performance.
Experience with vacuum systems, high voltage power supplies, microwave systems, vacuum pumps and gauging preferred. An Associate’s Degree in electronics or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. A minimum of 2-5 years related experience. Must have a high degree of independent judgment regarding troubleshooting and fabrication work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Position could be on a day, swing or mid-shift, therefore all applicants must be shift flexible and willing to work day, swing or mid-shift.

Coating Techncian
We are looking for Coating Technician's to operate high vacuum coating chambers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operate coating machines; requires a basic understanding of coating technology or the ability to learn while on the job, mechanical skills, trouble-shooting skills and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Process and inspect parts. Clean and load parts into coating chamber.
Coating machine maintenance: requires the ability to assemble and disassemble equipment, bead blasting, perform target changes through physical agility.
Must be able to analyze coatings (spectrophotometer)
The ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
This is a temp-to-hire position. Once temp-to-hire status is satisfied, we offer competitive salary and benefits.

Thin Film Engineer
We are seeking Thin Film Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will design coatings and implement them into manufacturing; monitor and improve coating processes, procedures and equipment. Working closely with the technicians to resolve technical issues you will perform troubleshooting and characterization of coating chambers. The position will interact directly with customers and sales staff to provide quotations and determine specs for customers while providing analysis of specifications and tolerances. In addition you will be required to write and present white papers.
BS in Physics, Optics, Material Sciences or related field required. A minimum of seven years experience in optical coating production using e-beam, IAD coating processes or sputtering. These job positions require compliance with ITAR regulations and ability to obtain a government security clearance. Candidates with previous experience in the solar industry are encouraged to apply.

Western Sales Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales for west coast sales of commercial product lines and for SPG non customer sensitive sales. Plan and conduct pre-sales and post-sales customer meetings. Utilize technical probing and presentation skills to determine how our products can meet the needs of potential customers. Assist customers in determining which of the company’s products will best suit their needs.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain manager to determine how products can be designed or modified to meet customer requirements. Gain internal consensus with determining a pricing strategy that will win the business and achieve the highest percent gross margin. Utilize Professional Sales Skills in the presentation of the quotation, negotiation of the business and closing of the sale. Coordinate with inside sales and customer service to resolve problems and support customers during critical phases of product development and production. 50% to 60% domestic travel required.
